Where is Keyper?

If you are having trouble locating the Keyper plug-in in Final Cut Pro, follow these instructions:

  • Quit Final Cut Pro

  • Click the following link to launch FxFactory and reinstall Keyper on your system:

  • Once the installation is complete, launch Final Cut Pro
  • Switch to the Effects browser and look for Keyper under the Sheffield Softworks category:


If you see the Sheffield Softworks category, but it is empty, make sure the popup menu below the Effects browser icon is set to Installed Effects:

Next, make sure your Search criteria does not list only 4K or HDR. If you see either or both these criteria, turn them off:

Once those criteria have been disabled, make sure the Search bar itself does not contain any text:

At this point you should be able to see the Keyper effect in the browser.
