Disabling or Uninstalling Products

To disable a product so that it no longer appears inside a video app, launch the FxFactory application and locate the product in question.

Turn off the checkbox next to the product’s icon:

Once the product has been disabled, its plugins are no longer loaded by any supported apps. The icon appears grayed out, and the product status should read "Disabled":

Video apps must be restarted for this change to take effect.

Turn the checkbox back on to re-enable the plugins.

The above technique allows you to quickly manage any effects you see in any video app.

Instead, if you with to permanently uninstall a product, hold down the ⌥ Option key and click the Uninstall button:

Upon confirmation, the product is removed from your system. This will free up any disk space that was previously required to keep the product on your system.
