Enabling Full Disk Access for the macOS Installer
When the installation of our software is failing repeatedly, it may be necessary to give the Installer app permission to copy files anywhere on the system.
Select System Settings… under the menu
Under Privacy & Security, click on Full Disk Access
Under Full Disk Access, locate the Installer app & enable the switch
macOS will request your administrator’s password to make this change. Once the option has been enabled, close the System Settings app and repeat the installation.
It is important to note that this step isn't normally required for the installation of our software. The need to give explicit permission to the Installer app signals a deeper configuration problem on the system, one that cannot be easily diagnosed through other methods. In some cases, users may need to perform a clean installation of macOS to solve the problem.
