Sending an Apple System Profile

1) Launch the System Information app found in Applications → Utilities, and proceed to Step 2. If you have trouble locating the System Information app, please follow these steps instead:

Choose About This Mac under the Apple menu:

If your system is running macOS Monterey, click the System Report... button to launch the System Information app:

If your system is running macOS Ventura, click the More Info... button:

When the About panel appears, click the System Report... button.

2) As soon as the System Information app is active, it displays a detailed system profile for your Mac. Choose the Save... command under the File menu:

Save your system profile to a file ending in . spx:

Attach the . spx file to your email reply.
